Vintage prints are prints made at or around the time the photograph was taken and are considered to be the most valuable. Fritz was a prolific printer in his 60 year career. Most of his work from the 1920’s through the 1950’s was printed by himself in his New York darkroom on the highest quality silver gelatin papers of the time.
Later Prints are prints made at a later date, often decades later. All prints are silver gelatin and printed on the highest quality paper available at the time of printing. Many of the prints ca.1980’s were printed and/or supervised by Fritz. All prints are signed by the photographer.
Estate Editions are images printed posthumously by the Fritz Henle Estate. All are silver gelatin prints, titled and Estate stamped in editions of 25.
